Vehicle fire filmed by spectators who stopped to watch. The front bumper explodes from the heat showing why all vehicle fires should not be fought from the rear or the front of the vehicle. Both of the firefighters legs were broken.

Firefighters using a vehicle for training cut thru a post which contained a compressed airbag cylinder. The cylinder explodes and luckily the firefighter was wearing eye protection. Car manufacturers are placing these cylinders in several different areas of vehicles now. 

May 8th 2007 Belleville, IL. firefighters battle a story and a half frame house fire. Fire was showing in the rear of the home upon arrival of 1st units. Fire then extended into the ceiling and walls of the upper floors.

S-15 pick-up truck was stolen then dumped and set on fire. It had been burning a while. Magnesium under the steering column explodes as water hits it.

East St. Louis firefighters knock down a house fire with a handline before the 2nd due company arrives.

Full audio / radio traffic the day 2 Kansas City Firefighters were shot by a man who set his house on fire. The 1st arriving units found a house fully involved with a man shooting a semi automatic weapon. The ladder truck, engine and ambulance were shot up pretty good. The firefighters survived but the gunman did not. It is believed he died when the house exploded either due to explosives or propane tanks.
