HOW DOES IT WORK?
After mounting the camera mount on your helmet, the camera locks in and unlocks from its clip in
1 second.
The back of the cameras waterproof cap is unscrewed and 2 AA batteries are placed inside. Thats why we sell
the kit which contains 4 AA high power rechargable batteries with charger. These batteries have been tested with this
camera and have lasted over 3 hours on each charge!
Also with the cap open, the 1GB SD card is locked in its slot here.
You then replace the cap and lock it on your helmet.
When a call comes in, you push the ON/OFF button and the unit will "beep" twice showing the
display. Then you just push record and it starts recording. Put your helmet on and go.
After the fire or call, just unclip it and push the record button again and it will "beep" and
you will see that it's stopped recording. If you want to start recording again, just push the record button again and
it will record wherever you left off. IT WILL NOT RECORD OVER WHAT YOU HAVE RECORDED.
To watch the video, either:
1. Unscrew the waterproof cap and hook the USB cable that comes with the camera
to your camera and computer and download the AVI file to watch, edit and share it with your friends.
2. Unscrew the waterproof cap and hook the audio/video cables to the camera and to your
T.V. to watch it, or to your VCR or DVD recorder to record it.
Then after you record your files however you wanted to, you can erase the card and then you
will have 1 hour of record time again!
If you are using this on your computer (PC), then you can use "Windows Movie Maker" to edit the video.
